HEAVY HITTERS FOR THE INJURED

Attorney Matt Hartley

Founding Attorney

Matt grew up in a small Illinois town where most of his classmates went straight from high school to a factory line or a family farm. He took a different road — into the elite corporate firms lawyers call "Big Law," the firms that represent Fortune 500 companies and major sports organizations. He was a partner at one of the largest firms in the world. Across more than a decade in Big Law, he represented Fortune 500 corporations and teams in the NFL, MLB, and NHL, and has represented clients in matters involving more than $1 billion. He sat in boardrooms most lawyers never see. He structured deals most lawyers never touch.

But somewhere along the way, the work stopped adding up. No families made whole. No lives put back together. Just large corporations getting larger. So Matt left — walked away from the partnership, the boardrooms, the prestige — and started representing people. More than 40,000 of them so far. But things really got personal when he got the phone call no one wants — his wife and daughter had been in a serious car accident.

In that moment, personal injury law stopped being something Matt did for a living. It became something he was living. The same place every client he represents is sitting when they first pick up the phone —terrified, unmoored, with no idea how to put life back together

He'd already chosen this work. The accident showed him why he'd chosen it

Today, Matt Hartley is building something Arizona has never quite seen in personal injury law: the firepower of a former Big Law partner, deployed for the people who actually need it. The strategies he used to win for Fortune 500 boardrooms are the same strategies that win for injured families against insurance companies. The adjuster on the other side of your case has a playbook. It works on most personal injury lawyers, but not on Matt.

Some say it's not a fair fight. That's exactly how Matt likes it. And it's exactly how his clients like it, too.
